Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC is looking for Certified Parent Peer Specialists and Peer Specialists who believe in the purpose and mission to join us in providing peer support in Wisconsin.   

Purpose

The purpose of Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC is to empower peers by increasing knowledge and skills, through education, advocacy, support, and hope. Certified Parent Peer & Peer Specialists model behavior for others, provide hope for change and growth, assist in advocacy and teamwork, navigate service and support systems, encourage and understand the peer's voice, and provide peer support through shared experience. 

Mission

 The mission of Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC is to provide certified parent peer and peer specialist support while providing education, advocacy, support, and hope to empower peers to use their strengths to thrive.

Requirements

  • Must be a Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist and/or Wisconsin Certified Parent Peer Specialist 
  • Be willing and able to obtain the required vehicle and commercial general liability insurance
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Provide own equipment including reliable computer, internet connection, printer/scanner, and cell phone
  • Good technology and writing skills
  • Ability to use Google Drive 
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Attention to details and deadlines
  • Experience in mental health, substance use disorders, and peer support 
  • Organized and punctual
  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • Able to pass a caregiver background check

FAQs

What does it mean to be a Subcontractor?

 

The Subcontractor shall provide the Services as an independent contractor and shall not act as an employee, agent or broker of the Contractor (Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC). As an independent contractor, Subcontractor will be solely responsible for paying any and all taxes levied by applicable laws on its compensation. The Contractor will not withhold any amounts for payment of any taxes from Subcontractor's compensation.

 

The Contractor agrees to provide, pay for, and maintain professional liability insurance with coverage of not less than $1,000,000 including “prior acts coverage” at all times during the contract with Subcontractor.  The Subcontractor agrees to maintain, for the life of the contract, automobile liability insurance of not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident and provide proof of this insurance to Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC.  The Subcontractor shall procure and maintain, for the life of the contract, Commercial General Liability insurance including, but not limited to, bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and products and completed operation in an amount not less that $1,000,000 per occurrence.  This policy shall also provide contractual liability in the same amount.  Subcontractor will provide proof of all insurances within ten (10) week days of renewal.  No health, dental, life, long-term care, disability, unemployment, workers compensation, or other such insurance not stated in the agreement will be provided for or required of Subcontractor. 


What is the scope of work?

 

  • Subcontractor will follow the ISP and/or Recovery Plan developed with the CCS Consumer and the County of residence.  The Subcontractor will follow the Wisconsin Certified Parent Peer Specialist and/or Certified Peer Specialist Code of Ethics, Scope of Practice, and additional procedures put forth by the county through which CCS services are being provided.  Subcontractor will submit, to Contractor, an invoice and progress notes for the CCS Consumer in compliance with the county through which CCS services are being provided with precision and accuracy by the tenth of the month after services were provided. 
  • Subcontractor shall develop a list of boundaries to include times of call acceptance, hours of appointments, services provided, relationship boundaries, the Wisconsin Code of Ethics, and a contact for the CCS consumer should the consumer have an issue to discuss.  The list of boundaries will be approved by the Contractor and will be provided to each consumer by the Sub Contractor. 
  • Subcontractor will provide information to each consumer to include no less than relationship and boundaries, Mental Health Bill of Rights, Wisconsin Code of Ethics, and Contact for questions or ethical complaints to each consumer no later than the third visit.   
  • Subcontractor will follow all COVID-19/Corona Virus mandates and procedures put forth by the local government, county health department, county or consortium CCS program, state, and federal government until such time that ALL mandates and restrictions are removed or until Sub Contractor meets the requirements for mandates and restrictions to be removed. 
  • Subcontractor is responsible for all traffic violations incurred during business travel.    
  • Subcontractor will obtain a Release of Information for each Consumer before speaking to a third party regarding Consumer. 
  • Subcontractor may contact Contractor to provide service to a CCS Consumer should a situation or illness arise that renders Sub Contractor unable to provide service for more than two weeks from the last date of service. 
  • Subcontractor will respond to all emails, phone calls and texts in relation to CCS services provided with in 48 hours of receipt on week days.
