Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC is looking for Certified Parent Peer Specialists and Peer Specialists who believe in the purpose and mission to join us in providing peer support in Wisconsin.

Rocky Hill will provide education, advocacy, support, and hope to all families in Wisconsin who are managing mental health and/or substance use challenges and, desire support, through various service arrays and county and state services.   

• Must be a Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist and/or Wisconsin Certified Parent Peer Specialist 
• Be willing and able to obtain the required vehicle liability insurance
• Have reliable transportation
• Provide own equipment including reliable computer, internet connection, printer/scanner, and cell phone
• Proficient technology and writing skills
• Proficient use of Google Drive 
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Attention to details and deadlines
• Experience in mental health, substance use disorders, and peer support 
• Organized and punctual
• Understanding of and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Able to pass a caregiver background check
• Be 18 years of age or older

What is the vehicle insurance requirement? 

Automobile liability insurance of not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident and provide proof of this insurance to Rocky Hill Parent & Peer Specialists LLC. Employee will provide proof of all insurances within ten (10) week days of renewal.  This insurance is required by some counties, but not all.  Please inquire about the count(ies) that you intend to work in.  

What is the scope of work?

• Employee will follow the ISP and/or Recovery Plan developed with the CCS Consumer and the County of residence.  The employee will follow the Wisconsin Certified Parent Peer Specialist and/or Certified Peer Specialist Code of Ethics, Scope of Practice, and additional procedures put forth by the county through which CCS services are being provided.  Employee will submit, to Employer, progress notes for the CCS Consumer in compliance with the county through which CCS services are being provided with precision and accuracy by the tenth of the month after services were provided. 
• Employee shall read, understand, and follow the employee handbook.  

What is the rate of pay?  

Rocky Hill changed from a subcontractor model to an employee model as of January 2024.  Due to this change the below rates and reimbursements are subject to change as we work out the details in the new system.  

• Hourly Rate: 
• Certified Parent Peer or Certified Peer Specialist $25.00/hr
• Bachelor's Degree $43.00/hr with certification 
• Master's Degree $70.00/hr with certification 
• Reimbursements (non-taxable) 
• Up to $200 per month for home office, internet, cell phone, and technology equipment
• Mileage
• Up to $250 per year for continuing education
• Up to $200 per year for lodging for continuing education
• Up to $200 per year for supplies
• Holiday & PTO Hours - varies based on average hours per week. 
• Up to 72 Holiday Hours and 120 PTO Hours if you average 40 direct and travel hours per week.
• 18 Holiday and 30 PTO hours if you average 10 hours of direct and travel hours per week.
